The Founders

Tom Perdew, a real estate developer in Sarasota, Florida, is an avid hunter and fisherman, and will spend much of his free time living on and managing SRS Ranch. Tom grew up hunting and fishing in Kentucky, has spent years pursuing those passions throughout the west, and is committed to maintaining SRS Ranch as a "lifestyle," one that is rapidly disappearing as he experienced it, but one that SRS insures will be enjoyed by his grandchildren, their children, and by those families who purchase one of the homesites.

Tom's sons, also Founders, are as follows:

Kelly Perdew, the eldest son, and winner of "The Apprentice 2," presently resides in Santa Monica, California after leaving NY City and the Trump Organization. He is a Managing Director for Angel Venture Partners, a $50M Venture Capital Fund that invests alongside leading angel groups in early stage ventures. (www.angelventurepartners.com) Kelly loves fly-fishing.

Hal Perdew is married to Stephanie and has one child, Brent. They live in Sarasota, Florida and Hal is managing the family's self storage operations, Patriot Self Storage, LLC.

John Perdew is married to wife, Lisa and has two children, Dexter and Ramsi, and they are expecting their 3rd child in June. John is an energy broker in Houston, Texas.

Patrick Perdew is a Navy Corpsman in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and he and his wife Ashley, have a son, Evan, and a daughter, Akemi-Lynn.

Jody Simon, family friend and also a Founder, is a real estate developer and entrepreneur who owns and operates multiple businesses and spends a large amount of his time as a pharmacist conducting Cancer research. With his wife Carol, of 30 years, they have 2 grown daughters and a grandson on the way. Jody claims the Perdews as family and wields a mean shotgun!

Tom and his four sons have hunted and fished from very early ages, and all are excited to be a part of this outdoor paradise where their children can adventure freely as they were able to do as youngsters. They owe much of their love for hunting and fishing to “Grandpa” Perdew, also known as “Hub,” who taught each of them how to fly-fish on the North Fork of Elkhorn Creek in Frankfort, Kentucky. They all use custom-made fly-rods that Hub’s younger (75) friend Taylor Davidson who still builds fly-rods to suit at his home in Frankfort! Hub Perdew passed away at 100 years of age in March, 2005, and all miss him dearly and wish he could have seen and experienced SRS. The Perdew Family is building a 6,000-Square-foot lodge consisting of six bedrooms, a huge family area with fireplace, a commercial kitchen, an outdoor deck with hot tub, and a large dining area designed to comfortably feed large groups, and the Family expects to participate actively with the new owners in all aspects of the enjoyment all will experience on the Ranch.

Being designed and soon to be built and available for use by Owners and their guests are a Community Room, with bar, kitchen, great room and large screen TV's, a skeet range, game cleaning stations, duck and goose plucking machines, dog kennels, decoy storage and other facilities for the enjoyment of all.
